CARBONITE TO POWER BACKUP FOR TDS TELECOM
CUSTOMERS

May 08, 2008 - Online backup company Carbonite Inc. reports it has executed a partnership
agreement with TDS Telecommunications Corp. to provide the core for its new online backup
service.

Wisconsin-based TDS Telecommunications Corp., operating under the brands of TDS
Telecom and TDS Metrocom will offer its TDS Backup Online service to customers of its
Internet service provider business.

No financial details of the deal were released. The service is available as a 12-month
subscription for $49.99, according to TDS officials.

Privately held Carbonite, which is based in Boston, has raised about $26 million in venture
financing to date, from investors including California-based Menlo Ventures, the 3i Group and
Lexington's Common Angels.

When one of my advertisers makes the news, I like to publish the story on my website for all to
see, whether good or bad. I can't compliment enough how easy it was to back up my computer
online with Carbonite.  You really don't notice much of anything, it's that invisible. If you do
your research, you will also find they are the best deal too.
