Lifestyle Lift

Lifestyle Lift claims to get rid of wrinkles and sagging skin. They do perform surgery on its
patients which means cutting and stitches. Can you believe they stitch your earlobes back to pull
the skin tighter? They also ask you to take before pictures (where you always look depressed and
never smile) then come back in about a month for the after pictures after the swelling goes down,
the bruises disappear and the stitches are removed.

The cost is about $5,500.00 bucks (pretty expensive for a "lift") and people are willing to pay the
price to gain back some of their youth. The problem is Lifestyle Lift does not seem to care about
you once they have your money and you are done with the initial procedure. Hopefully they give
you enough local anesthesia because the procedure is very painful.

The best way to see if you should try this procedure is to read what others have to say who went
through this cutting, bruising and stitching with Lifestyle Lift.

The following are responses from people who have had the procedure.

I had the procedure done in Dallas in July of 08. I had high expectations that it would be as great
as they said. Here I am 10 weeks later and my jowls have returned. I still can't sleep on either side
of my head without pain. The hairline incision on the right side, which incidentally is not on the
hairline like the other side, is raised and painful. The bone area behind my ears hurts a lot all of the
time. My earlobes have been sewed tight to the side of my face. I feel so bad every time I think that
the only lasting thing from this ordeal will be the scars and pain. I wish I had read these before I
gave them my money. Please, go to a regular plastic surgeon and do yourself a favor. If the Dr that
did mine is a plastic surgeon, then I am a brain surgeon!! I wasted $5500 and went through a lot of
pain and lost a lot of days from this. I will be 55 soon and can't believe I am still so gullible!

HAD LIFESTYLE LIFT IN PHOENIX, AZ IN NOVEMBER 2007. MY FACE LOOKED GOOD FOR THE
FIRST 2 MONTHS BUT AFTER THE SWELLING WENT DOWN, SO DID THE SKIN. MY JOWLS
STILL HANG, MY SKIN IS SAGGING, I HAVE WRINKLES AROUND MY MOUTH THAT I DID NOT
HAVE BEFORE. MY EARLOBES ARE ATTACHED TIGHT TO MY FACE. I HAVE DEEP WRINKLES
ON MY RIGHT SIDE THAT START UNDER MY CHIN AND UP OVER CHIN. I AM LEFT WITH UGLY
BROWN DISCOLORATION OF SKIN IN FRONT OF MY EARS THAT LOOK LIKE BRUISING. I DID
NOT GO BACK FOR MY AFTER PHOTOS BECAUSE I WANTED TO WAIT FOR THE ACTUAL
RESULTS. WHAT THEY DO IS TAKE THE AFTER PHOTOS ONE MONTH LATER WHEN FACE IS
STILL SWOLLEN AND ONE LOOKS GOOD BUT AFTER THE SWELLING GOES DOWN THEN THE
TRUE RESULTS SHOW AND THEY ARE NOT GOOD. I AM SO SORRY I WENT FOR THIS
SURGERY. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE THIS DONE. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

Had a Lifestyle Lift done 10/07, I was never told be the doctor or the consultant that I needed a
second procedure in order to take care of my Turkey Neck which is why I went to Lifestyle Lifts. I
went back to Lifestyle in June, 08 with a complete failure in my procedure only for the doctor to
tell me that he would have never done this procedure without doing the Lipo and platysma band
also at the same time. That there were very few surgery records so he did not know what was
done exactly. My neck is now worse than before and I am constantly getting a run around. I was
told by the doctor and their consultant that this one procedure would take care of my neck and
jowl area nicely. Lifestyle is controlled by a Management firm and any of the head doctors
mentioned are not accessable. I have been treated miserably since I started complaining. I will be
glad to join any class action suit, let me know.

And there will always be some that love the procedure:

I had the Lifestyle Lift procedure in 2006 in Ft. Lauderdale. I am totally happy with my results and
my advice to anyone considering this or ANY medical procedure is to do your research, especially
research on the doctor who is doing the procedure. I looked the physician up on my state
professional website (he is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in head, neck and eyes),
did some other research and met with the doctor BEFORE the procedure. He was totally honest
as to what to expect. The support non-medical staff could be improved but the medical assistants
were wonderful. Personally, I couldn't be happier with my results and have recommended the
procedure, and my doctor, to others.

UPDATE: August 2009

My Lifestyle Lift procedure with liposuction was in September 2007.  Immediately afterwards I felt
the procedure was a success, but as the weeks progressed and the swelling went away I noticed
the "puppet lines" and "jowels" on either side of my face were back. In February, I did meet with
the Doctor, who said to wait as my face needed to settle. In June I sent a letter to my doctor asking
to meet with him as I was not satisfied. I also left three voice mail messages on the Lifestyle Lift
customer service line. To date I have never heard from anyone.

I too feel they took my money and I'm not happy with the outcome. Is there a lawsuit that I could
join?

#1  NYS Attorney General recently fined LifeSyle Lift $300,000 for posting false stories pretending
to be satisfied LSL patients.
Read about it here.

#2  There is a class action suit which has been filed in Federal Court against LSL for their
deceptive advertising.  I had mine in 12/07 and have regrets.  The phone number to call is
1-888-LSL-suit.
